A delegation from the Palestinian future society headed by Mr. Esam Aldbai Executive Director of the Society returned home after participating in the Executive Education Program, “Leading for the Future: The Middle East in a Changing World”, which hold at the Dead Sea – Jordan during 17-21 January, 2010 by Harvard Kennedy School Executive Education .
This program encouraged the transformational skills of leaders. “Leading for the Future: The Middle East in a Changing World” and enabled participants to return to their countries with an enhanced understanding of the leadership necessary to promote reform, greater knowledge of changes taking place internationally, and a renewed commitment to working with their peers from other countries.
The unique five day program was designed and chaired by Robert Lawrence, Albert L Williams Professor of International Trade and Investment at Harvard Kennedy School. The program curriculum included public and private partnerships, international economic and trade policy, and negotiation and decision making.
Its organized by the King Abdullah II fund of development in cooperation with The Kennedy School at Harvard University.
The program was limited to 55 participants from Arab countries only .The public sector about 49% of the total amount of participation, while the percentage of
Participation of the private sector about 30% and the civil society sector 21%.
His Majesty King Abdullah II, opened the first day of Program, and expressed his support for such programs aimed at developing the skills of Leaders and provide them with knowledge and enrich their experiences in various disciplines.
